This 1978 Italian compilation (originally a double LP, reissued on a single CD in 1991 with no extra tracks) has proved to be one of Julio Iglesias' most popular with Italian audiences. Sung almost entirely in Italian, its 20 tracks represent two-thirds of the three albums Iglesias recorded for the Italian market between 1976 and 1978, when he was at the peak of his international popularity. Many of Iglesias' staples are to be found here — in their Italian versions — such as Manuela, Pensami (Júrame, in the original Spanish), Sono un Pirata, Sono un Signore (Soy un Truhán, Soy un Se?or), and Da Quando Sei Tornata (Desde Que Tú Te Has Ido), as well as songs originally written in Italian, such as Se Mi Lasci Non Vale, that he would later sing in Spanish (Si Me Dejas No Vale).
