Pharoah Sanders is heard at his best on a 22-minute version of Olé, where the tenor really gets a chance to stretch out. His vocal on Goin' to Africa is spirited, but otherwise most of his solos are very much in the tradition of John Coltrane. There are some fiery moments but few surprises on this date chiefly recommended to Sanders fans.
