The five selections include Billy Strayhorn's beautiful Daydream, Davis' Persephone (a 17-bar piece), and three of the flutist's originals. The variety in the music ranges from an atonal The Crips to Budapest, which recalls Charles Mingus, and the high quality of the players makes this thoughtful presentation a recommended set.
