Path Of Obliteration was formed in early March 2006 when Brenan Clarke, Josh Bender and Nick Langenegger joined forces with lead guitarist Matt Kurucz. For the first year of the bands existence they remained a 4 piece band writing songs and playing shows in and around the Kitchener-Waterloo area. In June 2007, after a guest vocal appearance, they reached the decision to add vocalist Brandon Gatten to the mix. It was a natural fit. After his addition they began writing heavier and more technical music while still maintaining the trademark sound that has always defined Path of Obliteration. With their unique sound and energetic live show Path of Obliteration has firmly established themselves as one of the top bands in the local scene.Working together with recording engineer Ben Kemple, and Producer Daryl Rompf(DWR productions) Path of Obliteration have been making sure every last detail for the record is perfect! A long Summer of studio work and practice has finally payed off as they expect the release this fall!
