Gilmore Girls是Warner Bro继Buffy和Dawsons Creek之后推出的又一部可视性极强的Drama。Lorelai是一个单身母亲和女儿Rory一起生活。她16岁时就生下了Rory，所以她们之间的代沟就不是那么的明显。她们两个更像是朋友而不是母女，她们一起开心的生活，无话不谈，虽然也会争吵，但是她们都会很好的把问题解决。Emily和Richard是Lorelai的父母。他们两个很有钱、也很高贵，所以他们无法忍受他们的宝贝女儿这么早就辍学生Rory。因此他们和Lorelai的关系不是很好，但是他们很爱很爱Rory。绝对不会委屈她的！Lorelai是她们生活的小镇的旅店的大堂经理。她的人缘很好，朋友超多。Rory的梦想是考入哈佛大学，所以，她来到了一所贵族学校开始她的新生活，为她的梦想努力。这个电视剧的情节虽然不如Buffy那样紧张刺激、24那样丝丝紧抠，但是却非常的吸引人，让人不由自主的就会深深的融入其中。这种讲亲情的Drama虽然不多见，但是部部都是非常迷人的精品。上帝说，要有好看的美剧，所以Gilmore Girls诞生了。　Our Little Corner of the World: Music from Gilmore Girls is a 2002 soundtrack release from Rhino Records[1] for The WB's Gilmore Girls. The album is a combination of selections from the score composed by Sam Phillips and the music of other musicians heard, mostly, during the first two seasons of the show. Also included on the album is the new version[2] of Where You Lead by Carole King and her daughter Louise Goffin, a snippet of which serves as the theme song for the show.The album was originally scheduled for release on September 24, 2002 to coincide with the premiere of the third season however it was delayed for one week, until October 1, 2002.[3]
