when I first heard that Kari Kimmel was going to do a dance\u002Fpop album, I didn't know what to expect. I have never heard a dancey-poppy song from Kari - I was interested to listen to the new sound of her songs & the overall results are absolutely wonderful! It's a breath of fresh air from all the great ballads she invents. This is by far my #1 favorite album from Kari Kimmel & she has proved to her fans that not only is she a master at making lovely ballad & mid-tempo songs, she's also successful in making uptempo, dance, pop songs! The album, to me, is about living in the moment & having fun in life! songs such as - Go, Any Better Than This, Brand New Day, & All Night Long are songs that totally represents the feeling of putting on a smile, freedom, & being youthful. The song - I Like It has that upbeat country-pop, soulful feel to it & So Bad is definitely the perfect Kari Kimmel song to play at a club.
