The music was a forceful as the first volume but something happened in the mastering process that lost a lot of the vitality. In retrospect its always better to have just one volume to represent three days of recording. Having said this there still is quite exciting music throughout. Olu Dara stands out with his muted work on Deweys Circle as well as Caig Harris with a forceful trombone solo. Bob Stewart and Vincent Chancey filling out the lower brass section like a New Orleans parade.
