Another Mustafa release on Stalwart, and only for the good!!! For those who still haven’t heard of him, Mustafa is a French Dj and producer. After a few years living in London, he moved to Brazil in 2001 and settled in the Favella de Vidigal in Rio de Janeiro, where he recorded his album De Paris ao Vidigal, mixing Brazilian Music with different rythms like 2 Step, House, Drum n Bass, R’n’B, Breakbeat. His songs have been featured on various compilations and the album Ginga Brasileira featuring remixes from Mo’ Horizons, Mj Cole, Groove Assassins… The song Sao Salvador , featured on this album, is nothing but faithful to his previous work: warm live elements, melodic song and top notch remixes from Deep Josh and Israel’s finest combo UPZ. Originally featured on his album Ginga Brasileira in a beautiful 'Afro House Mix', this release bring together remixes from UPZ (previously available through compilations on soWHAT Records), Deep Josh and Mustafa himself. The marvelously instrumentated 'UPZ soWHAT Mix' is laidback and groovy, whit the 'UPZ soWHAT Dub' fortifying the groove for serious dance floor heat. Deep Josh's dub is peak time heaven thanks to fierce synths and a contagious backdrop, while Mustafa's 'Deep' mixes take you on a journey through mellow deep house.
