Deep Vein Audio sees Liverpool's James Silk deliver the labels fourth EP. Comprised of three Balearic style house tracks that will keep the memories of last summer very much alive as we face into the winter months of 2010 Surco: The main inspiration with this track was pretty much me wanting a nice and warm stand out synth\u002Fpad melody. It’s just so elongated and smooth that as soon as I laid it down I knew that it would work well. Add to it some rolling percussion and a plucked bassline….It just works! That Feeling: I wanted to create a deep dark and loopy track that would just build and build as the track went on. This track is based around it’s groove; with swinging percussion, a vocal sample and off beat snares. I also wanted to build some serious tension, hence it’s rather long breakdown. Amor: I wanted to create something that had an almost Latin vibe, something that was deep and similar to my personal style but had an upbeat synth line that almost bounced along with the track. Of course putting in a Spanish spoken vocal really helped add to the Latin vibe.
