A.O.D was created in february 2012 and is the brain child of Chris hardy who has for many years been involved in the electronic music industry.
 
Chris wanted to capture his true inner soul, often tortured by the grip of depression and anguish Chris embraced his lifetime of torment by turning it into a musical journey.
 
By embracing your dark side it offers release like a self medication, music is alive in every human soul, sometimes light sometimes dark both must be embraced and faced then you fear nothing. But to understand Chris you need to know the whole story of how he got to where he is today.
 
After being brought up listening to the godfathers of electronica Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Softcell to name a few the drug of electronic music was too overwhelming to resist
 
Chris then followed his heart and turned to DJ under the name D.J TRANCEMASTER.
 
Chris eventually was playing worldwide spinning hard trance and his first music he made culminated in the tracks Olympus and Crystals are gold which sold very well across europe and was an excellent start to his music making, even better knowing he has no musical knowlege or skills whatsoever and taught himself.
 
After a short spell with Electro rock artists Ensignia Chris went into full musical production under the name Achtung Spitfire making classic's Navigation, Tears in Heaven and Blade runner.Chris found himself in a difficult situation, with his passion for electronic music he was still not satisfied with what he was producing labels came in and offered large sums of money and wanted him to make watered down versions of his music making them sound too commercial and he felt he was selling his soul and would not comply. Chris truly was now in touch with his inner soul he wanted to craft a dark sound, a sound what he always wanted too so he ditched the Achtung Spitfire productions and created A.O.D.
 
Since production has started the dark world has started to acknowlegde his work, since Feb he produced his first album Haunted which came out on Gothic world Italia. A.O.D will also be featured in two compilations of dark electro also being released by gothic world end of 2012. As well as the compilations he has a new single coming out AntiChrist which is a banging dark electro/ebm number with dark vocals. His next project is to take his music live and create a truly awesome show from the darklands.
 
We ask you to dwell in his haunting pumping dark electro musical landscapes, this artist will be huge within his genre and outside.
