Hailing from small-town Middle America, Lucas Wells packed his 2 red suitcases, and in 2008, decided to bring his Midwestern charm to the big city. Driven by a love for the arts, Lucas channelled his unyielding passion for music and theatre, and landed a spot in the original touring cast of the Grammy and 8-time Tony Award-winning indie-pop-rock musical Spring Awakening. For nearly 2 years, he toured the United States and Canada, performing 8 times a wek to sold-out crowds at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.), Colonial Theatre (Boston), Fox Theatre (St. Louis, Atlanta, Detroit), and more.
After returning to the Big Apple, Lucas appeared in many regional and New York City shows, and in 2011, landed a role on HBO's Boardwalk Empire. Since Spring Awakening, he has broadened his artistic endeavors, experimenting with stage-play and song writing. He taught himself guitar and began pouring his heart into poetic and sentimental lyrics accompanied by acoustic-pop and 90s rock melodies.
