The Carice Singers consist of some of the finest young singers in the UK, with a passion for English Choral Music.   The choir consists of some of the UK's most talented young singers between the ages of 17-21, providing invaluable experience to students who are considering careers as professional singers.    Named after the daughter of Sir Edward Elgar, the choir strive to reinvigorate the performance of the music of the English rich musical heritage of romantic composers.  Carice Elgar-Blake set up the Elgar Birthplace Trust in 1934, and today the choir honour and continue her efforts in raising awareness for the Worcestershire-born composer and his   contemporaries.  The choir explore themes of the English countryside and of youth and nostalgia, which added a new dimension to late nineteenth century and early twentieth century society in England.
