The name "YOFü" is derived from the first letters of the two members' English names, Yovia and Fury, with the Chinese name meaning "blessed." Yovia (Kong Cai-xi), a Taiwanese-Korean, is currently a cheerleader for the Chinese Professional Baseball League and a former member of a girl music group. She has a fondness for puns. Fury is a new-generation music producer and former band vocalist who won championships at the Blue Ribbon Ocean Music Festival and the Zhongli Rock Music Festival. He is also a singer-songwriter. He has a fondness for puns.
