It all started when I was growing up watching my uncle (Sonny Curtis, member of Buddy Holly & The Crickets) play guitar. He gave me a strat when I was only 12 years old and I was determined to learn to play it.
As I got older, I played in bands at bars & clubs for several years, playing the usual rock and roll, country, jazz and eventually classic rock..
I started listening to Michal Hedges, Leo Kottke, Doc Watson, Sonny Curtis, Pierre Bensusan and many more that later influenced my music.
After a while, I started composing my own acoustic tunes, many in alternate tunings, even songs with lyrics.
I have enjoyed working with good friends and musicians like Darren Rogers, Mark Ham, Dave Daniel, Pete Skydtad, Danny Rogers and fellow band member from Teysha, Deja- Vu, Leslie Sawyer, and West of Eden.
I live in Texas now, recording my acoustic guitar music and hope to continue to play and record music.
