从艺历程
张婉哲，声乐博士，中国著名旅美女高音歌唱家，现为活跃于欧洲、美洲与亚洲的重要国际声乐家之一。她先后毕业于中央音乐学院声乐歌剧系及美国新英格兰音乐学院，并于塞尔维亚贝尔格莱德艺术大学取得声乐独唱表演博士与室内乐演唱博士双博士学位，是该校首位来自中国的双博士声乐艺术家。
她长年致力于推动中西音乐文化交流，曾带领美国十二所知名音乐学院访华交流，并在中央音乐学院主持「声乐国际化主题交流会」及「声乐教育研讨会」。十余年间，张婉哲博士于欧美六国策划并主办多场国际音乐节及比赛，并与塞尔维亚国家文化部、贝尔格莱德市文化局等建立长期合作关系，推动「一带一路」背景下的中塞文化艺术交流。
作为表演者，她曾登台联合国总部举办全球直播音乐会，并在波士顿交响音乐厅、卡内基音乐厅、纽约考夫曼音乐厅、塞尔维亚国家音乐厅、上海东方艺术中心等世界著名音乐殿堂演出。2022年，她与钢琴家Sinadin组成「风鸣丝绸二重奏」，发表专辑《塞尔维亚·中国舞台》，并由法国Anima Records出版，录音档案荣获麻省理工学院与哈佛大学世界音乐馆作为文化遗产典藏。
她是贝尔格莱德国家歌剧院自1868年建院以来首位华人女主角，并于《图兰朵》中饰演“柳儿”一角，为欧洲古典舞台注入东方声音。

Artistic Journey
Dr. Wanzhe Zhang is an internationally acclaimed Chinese soprano and a leading figure in global classical vocal performance. She has performed extensively across Europe, North America, and Asia, and is recognized as one of the most influential cultural ambassadors of her generation.
She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, respectively. She later earned dual doctoral degrees in Vocal Solo Performance and Chamber Vocal Performance from the University of Arts in Belgrade, becoming the first Chinese artist to achieve this distinction at the institution.
Dedicated to fostering cross-cultural dialogue through music, Dr. Zhang has led delegations from twelve top American conservatories on cultural exchange tours to China, where she also hosted the “Internationalization of Vocal Arts Forum” and “Vocal Education Symposium” at the Central Conservatory of Music. Over the past decade, she has organized and directed numerous international music festivals and competitions across six countries in Europe and North America. In Serbia, she maintains long-term collaborations with the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Bureau of Belgrade, promoting China-Serbia artistic exchange under the Belt and Road Initiative.
As a performer, Dr. Zhang has been featured in a globally broadcast concert at the United Nations Headquarters and has graced many of the world’s premier concert halls, including Boston Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall, Kaufman Music Center in New York, the Serbian National Music Hall, and the Shanghai Oriental Art Center.
In 2022, she co-founded the Silk & Wind Duo with Serbian pianist Dejan Sinadinović (Sinadin). Their debut album, Serbia ∙ China Stage, was released by French label Anima Records and has been permanently archived by both MIT Libraries and Harvard University’s Loeb Music Library as part of their global music heritage collections.
Most notably, she is the first Chinese soprano to take a leading role at the National Opera of Belgrade since its founding in 1868, where she performed as “Liù” in Puccini’s Turandot, bringing a graceful and powerful Eastern presence to the European operatic stage.
