1994: Azmeroth formed the band under the name IMMOLATOR, and in the same year they recorded the first demo-tape "DE PROFVNDIS", crude Black Metal with strong Black Thra1994: Azmeroth formed the band under the name IMMOLATOR, and in the same year they recorded the first demo-tape "DE PROFVNDIS", crude Black Metal with strong Black Thrash influences. 
1995: It was released "DEMONMETAL", the second dark demo of IMMOLATOR. 
1996: The band had a greater mastery over instruments and performed a new rehearsal demo "IN NOMINE REX INFERI (I.N.R.I.)". This last work also marks the band’s split. Always in the same year, the band retrieved the situation by changing the old moniker into the current one HERETICAL (inspired by the song The Heretic of Possessed). 
1997: It was released the first work recorded as Heretical, "SHVB-NIGGVRATH" (demo cd Self-produced). 
1998: The band entered the studio to realize the first full length album "DE OCCVLTA PHILOSOPHIA” (Dark Heresy Rec.). The album was appreciated a lot by several magazines such as Metal Shock, Flash, Grind Zone. 
1999: The band participated in the "Wild Compilation", produced by the fanzine "Wild'zine", with the song "Blackicon". 
2000: They re-released “SHVB-NIGGVRATH” (Dark Heresy Rec.), with two bonus tracks and a new cover art. 
2001: The second album of Heretical, "ARS INFERA" (DH 04 Rec), was released. Title tracks: 1666...Opera in Nero, it took soul and body, changing into a sinister video-clip. Ars Infera got so much approval to allow the band to make a mini tour in the northern Italy; but in the same year Azmeroth was hit by a dire accident, which kept him away from the scene for three years. 
2002: The band participated in "Gun Blast, Into The Underground Compilation", produced by the Crash magazine, with the song "Biting Litany of Iacadiel". 
2004: Heretical reappeared with "DE PRAESTIGIIS DÆMONVM" with a more compact and direct EP, more guitar oriented and less centred on keyboards, presenting, compared with previous work, a more mature band. 
2007: Azmeroth joined the memorable Black Thrash Metal band SCHIZO as session live, and session guest in "CICATRIZ BLACK" (Scarlet Rec.). 
2010: The band entered the studio for the pre-production of the new full-length. 
2012: “DÆMONARCHRIST - DEMON EST DEVS INVERSVS” is released after a eight-year forced break, produced by Fabio Monaco at Sound Empathy Studio (Stockholm, Sweden), including 11 tracks with running time of 43:35. The latter marks a major techno-compositional evolution and manages to highlight the more brutal and atmospheric aspects of the Band.
