Not So Lucky is a pop punk band with a touch of their own sound, combining up-beat riffs and catchy melodies with an energetic live show. These boys live to entertain and, as drummer Zac Jones puts it, "There is nothing like being on stage and seeing the fans singing along to our songs."In their short existence, Not So Lucky has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with acclaimed national acts such as Artist Vs. Poet, Every Avenue, Valencia, Hit The Lights, Amber Pacific, and Eye Alaska. "Hit the Lights definitely shined some light on how to take our band to the next level; they are great guys," explains guitarist A.J. Garces. The band has shared their music with audiences all over San Antonio, Texas as well as venues in New Braunfels, Baytown, Boerne and Devine. Also showing some touring experience, they performed a set in the 2008 Rock Summit Festival in Pensicola, Florida."The Turnover", produced by Christian Linares (Shok Studios) and mastered by Clifton Miles (Dead Room Recordings), is the title of their upcoming three song EP. The EP includes songs such as the title track "The Turnover", as well as "Hay(lie)", and "This Song Has Your Name All Over It.""We want as many kids to hear our music as possible," says frontman Alexander Gage. The band, eager to play all around Texas, is looking to perform as many shows as possible during 2010. The guys are currently writing material for their first full-length project, entering the studio in the Winter of 2010.
