来自美国纽约的三人摇滚乐团Boyish Good Looks started as a project of singer/songwriter brothers Russ and Roy Thompson in April 2007.  Their goal was to release a compilation of songs that could immediately be enjoyed by anyone after their first listen.  The concept of the project was simple, but its success relied almost exclusively on the quality of the songs.  Both Russ and Roy had extensive repertoires of original material already written and recorded.  After browsing through each other\\\\'s GarageBand files, the duo agreed on fifteen sessions to polish off. Recording started immediately in the brothers\\\\' make shift studio, which doubled as Roy\\\\'s bedroom.  Three months later, Boyish Good Looks released Emoticons, a pop rock journey through the \\\\"greatest hits\\\\" of Russ and Roy Thompson.  The response to Emoticons was so overwhelmingly positive that the duo decided to expand the project further by adding a live entertainment experience. The duo began searching for other musicians who shared similar values and embodied their vision.   What started off as a project, turned into a band when Dave Mink joined Boyish Good Looks in 2008.  Dave\\\\'s energetic presence and love for music made him the perfect compliment to the band.  The group clicked immediately.  Boyish Good Looks has been rocking stages ever since.With their latest EP \\\\"Rocking & ROFL,\\\\" Boyish Good Looks continues a winning streak writing, recording and self-producing their infectious blend of power pop punk rock.
