组于2014年初旬，乐队在同年八月发行首张卡式带EP《Demo 1》，展示他们以吉他主导的明亮曲式和细腻的歌词描写，除了令人联想到八〇年代的英式guitar pop外，亦不乏爽烈的青春特质。单曲〈After Sun〉及〈Maybe Happiness〉引发乐迷和乐评间的正评；崭露头角的Salad Kowloon随即于美国独立乐团 The Drums 的香港场次担当暖场演出，翌年参与「草民音乐营2015」的演出。第二张卡式带EP预定于今年二月推出。
 
Formed at early 2014, Salad Kowloon has with their debut release Demo#1, showing a joint of 80's guitar-pop and lyricism on various subjects. Streaming tracks like"After Sun" and "Maybe Happiness" brings them positive reviews from both critic and local music fans, sent them on stage as supporting act for The Drums live in Hong Kong, as well as a time slot in Lawn Music Festival 2015, both were well recieved. Their 2nd tape Demo#2 is set to release in February 2015.
