The band was founded by Gabriel Wolf in 1990. In the early days Infra Black played industrial music with metal and experimental elements. In 2007 Gabriel & Matthias decided to change their style into Terror EBM, but not in a typical way. Theyve been calling their style "Gore EBM". The base of their music has been feeding from the Terror EBM genre, but they use strong and dynamic bass runs, and catchy background melodies.
