Recognized as a “thoughtful player” whose playing exhibits “stylistic mastery and playful lightness” by the press, American pianist, Dmitry Samogray, performs solo and chamber music recitals regularly throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.  
 
A passionate and dynamic chamber musician, Dmitry is a top prize winner at the MTNA National Chamber Music Competition and a founding member of several ensembles, including the Rácz-Samogray Duo, Trio Accendo, and the Nubar Trio.  Rácz-Samogray Duo’s Zagreb debut at the HGZ Concert Hall was described as “an inimitable musical evening filled with beauty and emotion” (HRsvijet.net).  Following a recital at the Lisinski Hall, Trio Accendo was praised for its “attentive interpretations, synchronized musical intent, and a rich tone” (Klasika.hr). In addition to standard repertoire, Dmitry is committed to the exploration of wrongfully neglected music, including works for non-standard, mixed ensembles.
