The GjeldRune Band was founded in 2008. They sing about heroic life and glory of the ancestors as well as those who is worthy to be called heroes in our time. The GjeldRune’s music is based on a powerful rhythm-section accompanied by melody of ethnic instruments and clean vocal. The musicians began to perform successfully in the summer of 2009. The GjeldRune has taken part in a number of concerts together with a few famous Russian folk-bands. In the summer of 2010, the band participated in the biggest Russian Bike-Show “Moto-Maloyaroslavets” where they were sharing the stage with such popular bands as Dezperadoz, Alice, Troll Bends Fir and some others. Currently, the band is getting ready to make recording of their first album and to conquer other new heights.
