Hopes of Freedom is a group of folk metal Power, based in Normandy.Mixing the power of power metal with folk sounds, the compositions of the group want melodic, rich, funs, happy, epic, and always inspired fanciful stories in which dragons, knights and other imaginary quests clearly have their place.
From the motivation of Lucas Lambert (vocals / guitar), Hopes of Freedom was founded in December 2007, soon joined by Simon Clement (guitar / vocals), and a few months later by Loris Brix (bass / vocals). For 3 years, the band played throughout the region numerous concerts with local bands, springboards and larger scenes.
"Freedom Storm", the first EP 5 subtitles Hopes of Freedom was released in October 2010.Armed with a new drummer in the person of Clement The Heryenat, arrived in December 2010, and an EP to defend Hopes of Freedom begins 2011 with great motivation and is preparing to storm all venues who wish welcome!
Early 2012, Hennart Thibault (guitar / vocals) joined the group in place of Simon Clement. The group spent the first 2 weeks of August 2012 "Wildpath Studio" where he recorded his first album.10 songs eponymous tell the story of a rebellious warrior whose destiny is to save the kingdom from evil forces. The album "Hopes of Freedom" was released on 1 December 2012.
