Pitch Razahs is an independent duo of producers from Russia. This project was founded by two old friends: Anvil Smith and Revolted Child in january of 2011.
 
The guys behind this project embrace the ideas of open digital space and Creative Commons and they share their music for free with those, who would like to use it for non-commercial purpose.
 
You can describe their music as experimental downtempo electronic, since they mix up the best of the sampled analog sound and atmospheric synth to take their listeners away to the most deep and emotional soundscapes.

When two guys who see the world around them in a bit different colors than the others (and who also happened to be the best friends for more than a decade), start to make music under the same project, you can expect something deep and really sincere to come out of it.
 
Once upon a time, being inspired by the beautiful music of such titans of genre as Pretty Lights, Dday One and Blue Sky Black Death and many other independent musicians from all around the world, Revolted Child and Anvil Smith joined forces in early 2011 to produce their first EP, cosisted of some raw, yet promising material with a bit of experimental feel in it. A few months and a couple albums later, Pitch Razahs joined the legendary Dusted Wax Kingdom.
 
You could think that the name of Pitch Razahs is related to the sound terminology, but it's only half of the story, because both guys live up to that name by thinking, learning, and acting fast, constantly raising the pitch of their own lives.
 
Pitch Razahs embrace the ideas of Creative Commons, sharing their music in digital formats for free. They both have some rough street background behind them, being born and raised in the outskirts of a small industrial city in the middle of Russia, which is no better than the classic ghetto where even the children are running dope and carrying weapons. Music took the guys away from that environment and showed them the other side of things, changing their perception, healing some wounds of the past, and encouraging them to be the best persons they can be. So, if Pitch Razahs could be that kind of a guiding light to someone with their own music, it would be the best reward they can count on, because money can't heal the wounds of a soul... Music can.
