Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan comes The Rabid Whole. Creating a hybrid of electronic, rock and industrial sounds and armed with a cutting-edge live performance, the band is ready to unleash its arsenal on audiences around the globe.  
Having met as strangers in 2007, TRW combines the talents of vocalist/guitarist Andreas Weiss, keyboardist Sheenah Ko, lead guitarist George Radutu and drummer Alex Ready and fuses them into a powerful unit. 
 
After a year of writing, playing shows and recording, The Rabid Whole self-released their first full-length album, Autraumaton (produced by Karl Schubach of Misery Signals). From the industrial, machine-gun-chug of “Selfish Nature” to the symphonic dirge of “Distant Blue Skies”, Autraumaton’s catchy vocal melodies, high energy guitar riffs, screaming synthesizers and contagious beats continuously reward the listener with TRW’s electronic rock resonance. Autraumaton spawned the singles “All The Same” and “Evidence of the Fall”, which were released to major rock stations in Saskatchewan (The Wolf 104.9) and Québec (Radio Propagande). A music video for “All the Same” is currently in post-production and scheduled to be released in 2009. 
 
Not happy with limiting their live show to just an aural experience, The Rabid Whole ambitiously sets out to create a compelling stage presence, including colourful, electronic-induced visuals and pulsating lights, creating a sensory assault. 
 
The success of Autraumaton grabbed the attention of many labels, but the band felt they were best suited with the Vancouver-based Synthetic Sounds (SNFU, Left Spine Down), and quickly began working on their first Canadian tour, which is set to embark in early 2009. TRW plan to release a newly mixed version in March 2009 with the help of Shaun Thingvold (Skinny Puppy/Strapping Young Lad/k-os), with distribution set for Canada and the USA. 
 
2009 is marked with excitement for The Rabid Whole. With incessant touring, an unstoppable momentum and plans for their sophomore album underway, The Rabid Whole is poised to transmit its sound to the masses.
