Yardsss was founded as a project to exist outside of conventional musical boundaries. To ease the restrictions inherent with most bands and fully pursue ideas based on each piece being an individual release, unique unto itself. The project identifies more with film as the perfect medium to properly and fully represent an idea versus exclusively creating soundscapes.
Initially launching with a video single, "Kristallnacht", Yardsss begins to take shape. The projects dark hypnotic sound is often compared to Godspeed You Black Emperor and Swans as well as cues from artists like Mogwai and Rachels.
