Feast of Spirits is a 2-person, Montreal-based improvisational music act, whose repertoire explores many realms, including glitchy freak-folktronica, free jazz and tribal circus jams. Feast features Banana & the Flying Colors on vocals, keyboards, synths, and other instruments, and Specially Marked Boxes on vocals, broken toys, guitar and electronic glitchery. They collaborate with Montreal dancers, mystics and artists for their performances, integrating surreal theatre, experimental dance and Pagan rituals into their shows.  
 
Their self-titled debut album is an auditory excursion that takes the listener into a dreamlike world of magic, mystery and mayhem. The 20 songs envelop the listener in a surrealistic tapestry of beautiful textures, hypnotic rhythms and spontaneous vocalizations. In The Day it Rained Watercolour, sonic colors splash the aural canvas, shadowed by the haunted echoes of stormclouds. Synthesizers, mbiras and vocal harmonies combine to produce an ethereal listening experience. The music on this album has been described by fans as ‘fun romps in a noisy, enchanted forest’, ‘outsider music for pagans’ as well as ‘an inspiring and refreshing feast for the senses’.
