Formed by Jason Caine (Konniption Fit, 60 Second Crush), Amber Cat (Konniption Fit), Matt Marriott (Dryvel) & Michael Hughes (Seasons of Eden, Clear) in 2011 to release their heavier inner demons.
Bloodline Riot is the collaborative effort of several Detroit-based musicians with the goal of creating the ultimate Rock n Roll machine. Forging high-energy, fast-paced Rock with killer live performances..., Bloodline Riot weaves aggressive yet melodic songwriting balanced by technically precise musicianship to create a sound very much their own. Fans of Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Hail the Villain, Escape the Fate or even 30 Seconds to Mars, My Chemical Romance or Sick Puppies will appreciate the fresh and original elements that make Bloodline Riot's sound and songwriting unlike any other band.
In May 2011, Bloodline Riot released their first single, "Burn" produced by Andy Patalan (Sponge, Taproot) and mixed/mastered by Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Trust Company). Since its release, "Burn" has received regular airplay on 88.7FM Windsor/Detroit, 88.3FM Auburn Hills, TapDetroit.com, Radio Opie, the Auditory Slam Radio Show, The Breakfast with Odd Radio Show, The Rikki Roxx Effect Radio Show & more. Bloodline Riot was announced as the most requested artist on internet station TapDetroit.com for the month of July and voted by the stations listeners as Artist of the Week on July 30. DJ ChrisRoq of Unleashed-Radio says, "Bloodline Riot's "BURN", an anthem for the fan of just about anything...if you love something set it free, my ass.If you dig it, take it back! Bloodline Riot leads the charge!!!"
Keeping the pace at non-stop, Bloodline Riot won the Ernie Ball/Best Buy Music Gear Battle of the Bands in Aug '11, and earned a slot on the Rockstar Uproar Festival Detroit line-up at DTE Energy Theater to play with Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet for my Valentine, Escape the Fate, Sevendust, Black Tide, Art of Dying & Hell or Highwater.

In addition, Bloodline Riot has been named as one of 89x Radio's "Best of 2011", an honor given to the most requested, most played, & biggest songs of the year, with bands such as Pop Evil, Chiodos, I See Stars.
Featuring the powerhouse vocalist, Michael Hughes, (formerly of the well-known & popular bands, Seasons of Eden & Clear), Mike hits you full throttle with memorable melodies, punctuated by meaningful lyrics & soaring vocals that will be burning in your brain. A true singer's singer, Mike is capable of a full range of diversity, adding depth, balance & character through his unique vision & songwriting.
On Guitar is Jason Caine, from the bands Konniption Fit & formerly of 60 Second Crush. Jason, (a 2011 top 5 Detroit Music Awards nominee for Outstanding Instrumentalist & Songwriter and endorsed by Egnater Amps and XOX Audio Tools guitars) contributes to Bloodline Riot with his unique style of groove-laden riffs countered by tastefully written shred-inspired leads & high-intensity live performances.
Amber Cat (of the well-known 2011 Detroit Music Awards nominated Pop Punk band, Konniption Fit) is Bloodline Riot's Rock Bass vixen. Not just a pretty face, Amber (endorsed by Zon Bass) symbiotically interacts tastefully between the guitar & drums to create a space & style all her own, filled with punctuating bass accents & melodic counter-melodies.
Matt Marriott (of the Punk-inspired band Dryvel) adds fuel to the fire with his high-octane style of aggressive & articulate drumming. A true powerhouse of drumming thunder, Matt is like a fine-tuned machine, capable of full throttle thrashing to tasteful percussion accents & breaks. His live performance is one to truly behold.
