Karen Bernardino, a Norwegian artist born and raised in the Philippines, but moved to Bergen, Norway with her family at the age of 8. Little did she know about her talent, her voice...
At an early age, Karen entered several talent shows, exploring her passion and her drive for music. With energetic stage presence and stellar vocals she succeeded to climb her way up into the entertainment business, receiving fantastic reviews and recognition through out in Scandinavia. " I love challenges" she says, "I always try to push myself in different and difficult surroundings to develop".
By the age of 19 Karen was head hunted to try out for an audition for the 
Norwegian tour of the musical "Grease", taking on a big challenge being 
understudy for three leading roles. Falling in love with the musical world, she applied for Bårdar Ballet Academy School to nurture her talent. 
Inspired and eager for more Karen moved to Denmark, kept on pursuing her musical journey and landed her biggest debut as "Kim" in the musical "Miss Saigon" by the age of 21. 
All the critics gave her amazing reviews. Later on she even got the opportunity again for the first ever premiere in her home country Norway, receiving once again top critiques. Ever since, her name was spread in many theaters all around Scandinavia.
The next step in her career was entering the biggest dinner show in Scandinavia, Wallmans Salonger Copenhagen. There she became one of the lead soloist. Quickly she got spotted by the biggest act duo in Copenhagen, INFERNAL, and joined the hit maker team for there summer tour in Denmark 2010.
2011 she entered the Norwegian Idol, with quotes from jurymember Marion Ravn " That´s the best female vocal I have ever heard in Norwegian Idol history", followed up by The Voice.
