All original members of Narrow House came from other band called Funestum. Narrow House stopped playing ambient funeral doom at the end of 2009 after the leaving of several key musicians. 
The band returned to the scene at the beginning of 2012 performing their new "apocalyptic doom" material (a mix of traditional doom with other genres).
