Christmas 2008, recording started with producer Barry Haggarty @ Haggarty Sound Studio. The album CD \"No Regrets\" was the result.
\"No Regrets\" is Scott\'s first album as a singer/songwriter.
No Regrets also marks Scott\'s first indie release and was recorded in Peterborough over the course of several months, . The best part was being part of the action creating something that is entirely new and original. It was very exciting and very fulfilling to go through the creative process.
Scott is Canadian born and grew up in Peterborough Ontario.
My first inspiration came when I heard the Beatles & Elton John on my battery operated transistor radio hanging from my bed post. I must have been nine years old. I would always fall asleep to music. As well, there was always music in our house. Music would always ring out on acoustic guitars at family events and get togethers.
From an early age I sang. I was always involved in church choirs and in the high school musicals. In a high school musical I met a piano player. We became friends and ended up starting a band. That led to playing nearly eight years in rock and pop cover bands travelling throughout Ontario. It helped to pay for college and was my preoccupation.

I came to Toronto in 1985. The writing began 1995. Writing in the early years helped to boil things down to what was really important to me. This first record is inspired by and dedicated to my wife and her encouragement to go into the studio and make the best album I could.
