Jamie Shaw是一位来自英国韦尔斯的少年歌手 , 他在发行第一张专辑的时候已经大约接近14岁左右了 , 不过他的歌声也算是流行童声中值得赞赏的一位 , 因为已接近变声期 , 所以他所表达出来的嗓音不像一般童声刚出道时那般的童稚 , 反而有股成熟的韵味 , 柔情中带着刚毅的情感 , 中气十足及启承转合拿捏得宜 , 构成他独特的唱腔 , 童声时期所发行的When You Believe专辑中也大都是翻唱歌曲 , 歌曲诠释的方式和原唱些许不同 , 不过由Jamie动人的演唱技巧来重唱那些经典歌曲当然是同样的动听 , 专辑的主打单曲也就是When You Believe ! 长大后的他后来也组成了一个名叫One True Voice的boy band , 但是还是他在When You Believe专辑里的表现令人印象深刻呀 ! 值得一提的是 , 在2003年Jamie发行了一张新歌加精选From The Beginning , 除了6首第一张专辑的歌曲外 , 另外来收录了6首他在15岁所录制但并未公开的曲目唷 !

Jamie was born on June 8th, 1985 in the picturesque town of Dinas Powys, Wales, United Kingdom. At the end of 1998, Jamie sang "My Heart Will Go On", the film title song from "Titanic", in a TV show called "My Kind Of Music". Less than two weeks later, he signed his first record deal with Decca Music (Universal), and recorded his debut album "When You Believe". Included on this album was a very special song recorded for the Queen Mother's birthday.
In summer 2003, Jamie auditioned for "Popstars - The Rivals", and promptly found himself in the finals. Jamie was voted into the boy band One True Voice by millions of British television viewers. Their first single "Sacred Trust/After You're Gone" got platinum with over 650,000 copies sold and put them at number 2 in the UK Charts. The second single "Shakespeare's Way With Words" went to number 6.
Now Jamie's new single "Different" has been released by Rockin' Nation Music. Revered for his work with Avril Lavigne and Jessica Simpson, Grammy award winner Clif Magness was completely blown away by Jamie's talent and dropped everything to produce "Different" together with Jimmy Martin.
"Different" is a potent feel-good song about seizing the day and living your dreams the perfect power-driven rock pop anthem to see us through the summer months. In the UK Jamie already had the opportunity to support the Backstreet Boys for some live dates. In May 2006 he was on tour in Germany and Austria with Europe's leading Boy Band US 5 (18 Shows).
Jamie is only twentyone, and can already look back on a busy and successful career. His new single "Different" couldn't be more appropriately titled. With a different edge and a different direction, Jamie is sure to succeed to a different level in his career.....the top!!
