The brave move on, or so they say
A game for the few to play
While the same ones lose their way
But they say we choose
It’s easy to let them lead,
Smoke some tree
While posting sympathies
What else can we do?
But it’s harder
To look myself right in the eye
Hands in hot water,
Guilty with nothing to hide
Cause all we see is, ooh
Is darkness
Silent hurricanes
All around us
Bait and switch, you cannot tell just which is which
Even if you could, you gotta play the game
And anger is a dirty word,
Just be grateful and join the mould
But I’m used to being underestimated,
When I could eat you alive for breakfast
Talk big words but where’s the walk?
Threw pain in the flames to transform it
Can’t kill my spirit, no
And truth will pull us through
