Once in a while

You cross my mind

So I write you a letter

But put it down

Don’t you ever wonder how I am?

And all the little things you missed

Like my white lilies are in bloom

And I had a dream about that redwood

And I’ve been thinking ‘bout Massachusetts

And if we meet what would it feel like

But overall

I’m doing fine

So we’ll say goodbye

For a while

Or maybe just for now
