In the early morning light I woke up so free

Dreams of yesterday now just memories

Childhood days full of wonder and play

Learning to walk falling and then trying again every day

Growing up fast the years slipped away

From school to work life's path was my way

Love and heartache both sides of the coin

Teaching me how to love and when to let go and find me

Through the storms through the sunshine

I've learned to hold on and not lose my way

Every step every lesson

Brings me closer to who I am today

Sometimes the road gets rough sometimes its clear

But always theres something to hold onto near

Hope in my heart strength in my soul

Moving forward no matter what life throws at me whole

As the years passed the world changed around

Wisdom grew and so did my ground

Moments of joy times of sorrow too

Each one shaping me making me who I am and who I want to be true

Now as I stand here looking back and ahead

Grateful for every moment every breath Ive been blessed with

But with each challenge I grow stronger I learn
