Voices in the Dark

Verse 1:

By the roads of Jericho, where the shadows lie,

A blind man waits with hope under the endless sky.

He hears the footsteps drawing near, a whisper through the night,

A distant sound of promise that ignites his fading light.

Chorus:

So he cries, \"Jesus, Son of David, \" have mercy on me!

In the crowd, their voices drown, but he won’t let them be.

With every breath, he calls aloud, his heart wrapped in pain,

\"Mercy, Lord, oh mercy, let me see the world again!\"

Verse 2:

The whispers of the multitude, they try to silence him,

But his faith is like a wildfire, burning bright and unthin.

\"Come closer, what do you want me to do to you

And he said, Lord, l want to see i again.

on hope, that spirit flowing free,

For in the dark, I’ve found my heart, and now I long to a miracle

And then the Savior stops, his eyes meet the blind man's soul,desperate in search of a cure

\"What do you ask? my wish whole.\"

\"Lord, I want to see eyes the light, to feel the sun on me,

Let your grace fall gently now, as I bow down on my knee!\"

And then his eyes are opened wide, the colors of the day,

He walks with grace, glorifying God, in joy he finds his way.

The crowd erupts in praises, a miracle so bright

From the shadows into light, he appeared in the most beautiful colors,

giving steps in praises salvior
